This course covers servicing and maintenance of machines and equipment in which the unexpected start up (energization) of machines or equipment is possible We will discuss identification of energy sources on equipment, cord and plug connected equipment, establishing an energy control plan, locking out energy in sequence, isolation, lockout devices, procedures for de-energizing and re-energizing, periodic inspections and training.
